Since I’ve started gaining interest in the SEGA platform, I have begun checking out a few demos for this console. I found one I just had to share with you. It is called Bad Apple and it was created by FLM in November 2012.
It’s quite an entertaining production and its style reminds me a bit of State of the Art by Spaceballs on the Amiga.
I wouldn’t mind running it on a SEGA Mega Drive some time in the future, that is for sure. It’s really cool that people create stuff like this. Anyway, I have embedded the video below – hope you’ll enjoy the show!
Hope to hear what you think about this prod. Feel free to leave a comment below. Would love to hear what your thoughts about this SEGA demo.
Hope you all are enjoying the time of Christmas and that your preparations for Christmas Eve is going as planned.
Today I want to share another demo with you. Remember the one I wrote about a while ago that is called Future 1999 from Pers’ Wastaiset Produktiot (PwP)? If you enjoyed that one, you’re probably going to like this one too. It’s just as surreal and spooky..
Chances are that you’ll get a new perspective on Chess after watching the demo..
I’ve embedded a video from YouTube below, so that you can check it out for yourself. Enjoy the show! Hope to hear what you all think about this particular demo.
This weekend a demo party was held in Holland. The event was called X 2012 and the focus was on the Commodore 64. I was just starting to go through the entries in the demo competition, but had to stop to write this post after seeing Artphosis by Hitmen.. what a beautiful demo! It’s one of the best I’ve seen in a long, long time.. It runs for over 10 minutes, so it’s quite long, but everything that happens on the screen in so captivating, that you’ll keep watching until the end.
Without further ado, here’s the smoking hot new demo from Hitmen!
I usually write about Amiga or Commodore related topics, for example demos and games. Today I’ll do something different and write a bit about a demo that was made for MS-DOS based computer systems.
The name of the production is Second Reality and it was made by a Finnish demo group called Future Crew. It was released back in 1993 (soon 20 years old!) at the Assembly demo party in Finland. The demo invoked a positive response from the audience and won the competition it participated in.
There are so many things I like about this demo.. the effects, the design and the awesome music by Purple Motion to name a few.. it’s simply great!
I’ve embedded a video of the demo running below. Hope you’ll enjoy it!
What do you think about the demo? Did you enjoy it? Hope to hear your opinions, so please comment away.
