2012 in review

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year! I wish you all the best in the year to come. :) Many, many thanks for visiting my blog – stay tuned for more content in the months to come. You are the best!! :D

Here’s some statistics I got from WordPress. :)

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 52,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 12 Film Festivals

Changing Domain to Oldschoolgameblog.com

Hi everyone,

Today I decided to do something I’ve been thinking about for quite a while, namely changing the domain name of my blog to oldschoolgameblog.com. :) This will make it easier for you to type in the address in your browser, as the old one was too long.

The transfer seems to be working fine so far and I hope I won’t encounter any problems in the near future. Fingers crossed! ;)

If you’ve got a link to my blog on your site, I’d be most grateful if you could point the link to oldschoolgameblog.com. Many thanks in advance.

Have a nice weekend folks and thanks for reading!

Hi everyone,

It so happens that I’ve been interviewed by Tiago Lobos Dias for the Portuguese retro games magazine Revista PUSHSTART. :) The interview was published in the October issue (number 13), which is available for download at the official website.

Revista PUSHSTART covers a vast range of platforms, like Amiga, Atari, Sega, Nintendo, Intellivision and Magnavox.

The interview does mostly involve questions concerning the Amiga demo scene, but there are of course game related stuff as well.

You can download the issue by clicking on this link. The interview can be found on pages 36 to 38.

The magazine is in Portuguese I’m afraid, so no English, but it can be worth checking out nonetheless. ;)

Thanks must go out to Tiago for the nice interview. :)
