The Hunt for the Amiga CD32: Part Three

Hi folks,

Just a quick update this time. ๐Ÿ™‚

Today I’ve got some great news concerning my hunt for an Amiga CD32, as I’ve purchased a unit from a seller in the UK. Already looking forward to the machine arrives in the post!

The package I bought includes the following items:

  • The Amiga CD32 itself
  • PSU
  • Official joypad
  • All necessary cables to hook it up to a TV
  • Dangerous Streets and Wing Commander
  • Compilation CD with a lot of different games
  • Various magazine CD’s (probably from CD32 Gamer, but time will show)

I’m happy that Wing Commander is included, as it is a quality game that I’m missing in my collection. As for Dangerous Streets.. well, it’s not exactly the best beat’em up out there to say the least.. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’ll let you know when the console arrives and will of course take some pictures of it and publish them here.

I was also lucky to score a neat Micronik Amiga keyboard from a friendly guy at AmiBay. It is in pristine condition and has never been used! I’ll hook this up to the CD32 when it arrives by using one of those Lyra II keyboard adapters. A cool thing about the keyboard is that it says “Powered by Amiga” on it. Got to like that! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a good retro gaming evening everyone!

  1. Lucky you! Sadly this is one of those before you have to go back to work evenings. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ At least I got some Amiga work done this weekend.

    • Hi Alexander,

Many thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m really looking forward to the arrival of the CD32. Can’t wait. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Amiga 2000 was a fine machine. Tons of cool upgrades for it. Which systems are you into now?
