Hi folks,
Since I received my Amiga CD32, I’ve been testing a lot of different games. One of these is Microcosm from Psygnosis. Even though the gameplay wasn’t up to my expectations, it sports some excellent graphics. This includes the introduction to the game, which I believe was pretty impressive for its time. A guy at YouTube that calls himself Chaoticsignal has uploaded the intro for everyone to see. I’ve embedded it below. Enjoy!

Speaking of game intros on the Amiga CD32.. have you seen the one from Cannon Fodder? That one was made exclusively for the Amiga CD32 and you had to own one of the precious FMV-cards as well. Today you can watch it on the Internet. 😉 Here’s the complete movie uploaded by Wii60DS on YouTube:

Great intros especially the cheesy fmv acting in Microcosm. Cannon Fodder intro is hilarious too, I play this a lot on my 3DO.
Another good one is SuperFrog…in fact, its a damn good game too. Seem to recal Alien Breed intro being quite cool…I think?

Superfrog is awesome! One of my all-time favourite platform games. As you wrote, the intro to this game is quite funny. Nice cartoon. The game itself has great gameplay, nice graphics and there’s a lot of secrets to find too. Remember the slot-machine between levels were you could bet money and win an extra life? 🙂
Yes, the intro from Alien Breed: Tower Assault. I haven’t seen that running on the CD32 before, but I’ll definitely try it.
