Hi everyone,
Today I noticed that Trevor Dickinson, co-founder of A-EON Technology, has started blogging. As many of you know, A-EON Technology is the company behind the new AmigaOne X1000 computer, which is compatible with the AmigaOS.
Trevor’s Amiga blog represents his personal opinions and thoughts concerning the Amiga and the world of computing in general. He has written one post so far, but I’m sure there’ll be more to read in the future.
If you haven’t checked out his blog yet, please head over there now to have a look. You can find it here.
Speaking of A-EON Technology.. I tried accessing their homepage today, but it seems like it is under maintenance at the moment. Wonder what kind of updates they are working on. Looking forward to finding out. 🙂
I am reading it right now. 🙂

Hope you enjoyed it. 🙂 Will be interesting to read more from Trevor in the future. Also curious about the A-EON website.. maybe they are prepearing for the full launch of X1000 or maybe it has something to do with another project?

You never know. Maybe some news on the netbook?

That would have been awesome. 🙂 I’m really eager to hear more news about the netbook now. If it takes longer time than expected for it to be released, I might consider getting some other AmigaOS 4.x hardware instead. 😉

I am sure they get it out this year but more likely towards the end of the year. Even with a next year release the price still would be the winning factor compared to the prices of the other hardware out there.

Yes, it will clearly become the most affordable AmigaOS hardware out there. 🙂 Have you heard the news about the Natami project btw?

No I have not. Is there any news or did you mean If I know something?

The news is that Thomas, the man behind Natami, has gotten himself a new full-time job. He will therefore have much less time for the project. It seems like he has decided to finish the project himself with some other specifications than listed in the newest updates. I don’t know the details of the specs unfortunately. What this means is that the Natami probably will be quite delayed. 😦 You can read more about it in their forum.

Ah ok. I kind of have the netbook as my preferred choice so if it would be delayed it would not upset me that much (anymore).
