Hi everyone,
Recently, I’ve been spending some time watching demos made for exotic platforms such as the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and the MSX. There is a vast amount of good demos for these machines and it is simply amazing to see what people are able to get out of them.
Today I had a look at a demo called Aeon by Triebkraft and 4th Dimension. To keep it short, I was very, very impressed by what I saw (and heard.. awesome music!). It was released at the Ultimate Meeting back in 2008 and won the low-end demo competition. The party took place in Karlsruhe-Durlach in Germany and is usually rganized annually between Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
I’ve embedded a YouTube video of the demo below, so that you can check it out yourself. It contains a lot of cool effects, catchy music and good-looking graphics. It’s incredible that it runs on a ZX Spectrum! Anyway, hope you’ll enjoy the demo as much as I did. ๐
You can download the demo by clicking on the link below:

Glad you enjoyed it. ๐ I’m going to dig up more of such stuff in the future. It’s amazing what people can with old computers.

You’ve mentioned Amstrad. Have you seen the Batman Forever? I bet you did… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJosZfm560Q
Don’t you think this is crazy similar A500 was proud of back in early 90s? ๐
