Hi everyone,

Indie Retro News reports that a new Amiga CD32 compilation of games has been released. You can find more information about it on the official website here.

The compilation is tailored for Christmas and looks pretty cool! One of the guys responsible, Amigajay, tells us the following:

It’s that time of year to get merry and festive, and after putting up your Christmas decorations and getting a drink and cracking some nuts, what better way to help get in the mood than play some classic Amiga Christmas themed games in front of your TV this Christmas?!

A total of 33 games, demo’s and music are included on the disc, some great little games on here that you may have never heard or played before,ย  i won’t list them all here, but i have made a handy image below of everything included!

Here you can see a picture of the games included:

Looks like fun, doesn’t it? ๐Ÿ™‚ Here is the link again in case you missed it above.

Sometimes I wish I’d still have a CD32 just to run all the new compilations and games available for it. Great to see that there is so much activity on the Amiga these days.

Have a good weekend allย and thanks for visiting my blog (and don’t forget to fill out that votesheet for the Amiga demo charts, Versus)!

  1. Nice! I will download this and give it a spin on my CD32. I actually made the (quite awful) graphics for one of those games, I am surprised but happy to see it in the collection.

      • The third from the bottom, right column (above Christmas Mine). It’s a game where you play santa and throw gifts into chimneys.
I actually think about the game now and then and almost wish that I would be less lazy and redo the graphics! ๐Ÿ˜€

        • Cool, thanks for the info. ๐Ÿ™‚ Looking forward to try that one! Hehe, if you want to get your hands dirty with some pixel-graphics, we are looking for a graphician in Void. We have tons of projects (chartmag, chippack, musicpack +++), but we are lacking the gfx-department. I’ve tried helping, but my skills are not much to brag about to be honest. Please give me a shout if you want to be in an active Amiga group with several Norwegian members……… ๐Ÿ˜‰

            • Haha, come one man… you know you want to be in Void, we even have a “candy-reward” system for active people. This means you get fresh candy in the post if you’re very active. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Jokes aside, I can see that. You are still in Depth right?

  2. I never owned a CD32 but I did have a SCSI CD-ROM for my A1200 that used to allow me to run CD32 games. To be honest, the best thing about the CD32 was always the compilations. That and CD32 version of The Chaos Engine with animated intro, updated menu music and all the additional ambient sounds that play directly from the CD. It’s still the version I play today ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Hi mate and thanks for commenting. ๐Ÿ™‚ Was it the Squirrel SCSI + CD-ROM package from Power Computing you had? I had that one, the 2 x edition. My first CD was Aminet 8 and it was like entering a whole new world, as there was so much software on it to explore. Yes, that intro is really cool. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Yeah it might have been, it was definitely the Squirrel. It came with a CD with Diggers and Oscar on it. It was the first time I’d played Diggers and I really liked it; another CD32 game that actually made use of the CD format for its ambiance and music. Then I switched to the CD version of Amiga Format which used to include Aminet. Happy days ๐Ÿ™‚
