A few days ago a brand new version (7.1) of Wayfarer, MorphOS’ WebKit browser was released.

Changes since Version 7.0 are as follows:

Rebased to WebKitGTK 2.42.3

Fixed a network thread deadlock when resuming downloads

Changed the ‘+’ button to always adds tabs at the end

URL bar would stay empty when moving a tab to a new window, fixed

Selection redraw issues fixed

Added Save Screenshot to the Debug menu

Worked around and fixed reported crashes

Yesterday, I fired up my Mac Mini with MorphOS installed to download and test the newest version of the Wayfarer browser. It worked great! Believe it or not, with Wayfarer you can visit all kinds of sites on your PPC computer, even heavy sites like YouTube and BBC World. I’m very impressed by how far the development has come. Jacadcaps is doing a brilliant job, that is for sure! 🙂
