Thanks for visiting my blog. 🙂

Today is December 24th and Christmas is finally here! Not long ago we moved to a new house, so I’m writing this from my new office. In the living room, the Christmas tree is up. The house has been decorated with “julenisser” (Christmas gnomes / leprechauns) and other festive decorations. 🙂 Below is a photo of the tree. It is a fir tree, which we bought outside one of the local stores.

We’ve been invited away to family for Christmas eve and I’m looking forward to that. There we will be served pork ribs, pork patties, white sausages, potatoes, and other vegetables. Desert is as always in the family, rice cream with red sauce. A tradition is that an almond is put in a huge bowl of rice cream. Whoever gets the almond while eating wins a marzipan pig. 🙂 I’ve never won, but maybe this year? Time will show.
