Demo: Large Unified Theory by PwP (Commodore VIC 20) (2010)

Hi guys,

Hope you all are enjoying the time of Christmas and that your preparations for Christmas Eve is going as planned. ๐Ÿ™‚

Today I want to share another demo with you. Remember the one I wrote about a while ago that is called Future 1999 from Persโ€™ Wastaiset Produktiot (PwP)? If you enjoyed that one, you’re probably going to like this one too. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s just as surreal and spooky..

The name of the demo is Large Unified Theory and it was first released at the Alternative Party 2010. It won the main demo competition at that party.

Chances are that you’ll get a new perspective on Chess after watching the demo..

I’ve embedded a video from YouTube below, so that you can check it out for yourself. ๐Ÿ™‚ Enjoy the show! Hope to hear what you all think about this particular demo.

  1. What did I just watch? Definitely one of the most surprising demos I’ve seen so far. It wasn’t really my cup of tea, but it’s interesting to see what they can make on this old computer. ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice to see a post from you again. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year, and I hope to read a lot from you also in 2013. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Hi Mads,

Thanks for commenting. ๐Ÿ™‚ Are you selling your old games on these days? I’m tempted to buy the whole lot.. ๐Ÿ˜‰ hehe..

A strange demo, that’s for sure, but very intriguing. Have watched it a few times already and I really enjoy it. Those PwP productions are something special.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you as well! ๐Ÿ™‚ Hope you’ll have a good time during Christmas – are you guys having “ribbe” or “pinnekjรธtt” (or perhaps something else) on Christmas eve?

      • Everything is pretty much ready in our house. I would have liked to have been paid so I could do some Christmas shopping, but still haven’t seen the money yet. So that is pretty frustrating.

We make sure we have a lot of food for Christmas dinner. We also get chicken finger from one of our favorite restaurants here.

  2. A special production indeed. Both conceptually and technically (a pretty rusty platform…).

It’s been quite a while since the previous post, isn’t it? Good to see you’re alive and well ๐Ÿ˜‰
Merry Christmass and Happy New Year!

  3. A strange demo, thatโ€™s for sure, but very intriguing. Have watched it a few times already and I really enjoy it. Those PwP productions are something special.
