MSX: My old disks

Hi everyone,

Cleaning up my office at home paid off. I finally found my old original MSX disks! Recently I’ve only had one disk with games on it for my SVI Spectravideo, but now the collection is complete again. Can’t wait to give these a go! ๐Ÿ˜€ Plenty of goodies on these, including the legendary Blow Up!

It’s worth mentioning that these floppies had infiltrated the Amiga-section of my collection, hidden between old games and demos.

Happy Easter everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

PS: Any one else playing DOTT Remastered? I do. ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. I assume you had a local release of MSX-compatible hardware then? We never had them in Australia so my experience with the home micro computers are mainly Amstrad, C64, Amiga, Spectrum, possibly one of the Atari computers as well.

    • Hi Sean! ๐Ÿ™‚ My family and I bought the computer in a local shop called Spaceworld. We were actually going to purchase a Commodore 64, but these were sold out in all shops, so we got the MSX instead. ๐Ÿ™‚ After the MSX, I got an Amiga 500 and since then I’ve been an Amigan, hehe.

      • Yeah it’s needed, there are several ways to die or make the game unwinnable in Maniac Mansion. I know some people like that, but I always find it a bit harsh when you can’t win a game because you did something wrong much earlier on – especially if there is no indication or hint that you did so. Still, Maniac Mansion is great game.
