Hello all,

Recently there has been quite a lot of discussion concerning the reappearance of an old Amiga company, namely Phase 5. They earned their fame for making superb accelerator-cards for various Amiga models, such as the Blizzard series. The company has been out of business for many, many years, but according to some webpages, they are now going to start-up again with new strength. Some people have questioned whether this is true or not, but judging from the activity on the official Facebook-page of Phase 5, it does not seem unlikely. Time will show what happens!

Here are the links to the discussions:

So, what do you think? 🙂 Are they back in business? Will we see new PowerPC cards for A1200 and A4000? Or perhaps 060 cards?

      • That would be cool, but I’d have to get myself an Amiga first!!! Still one of my biggest regrets that, selling my A1200 and all the gear and games 😦

        • The 1200 is great fun. 🙂 I must admit to using my MIST FPGA more though. It has a complete Amiga setup and is hooked up to a CRT with RGB to SCART cable. It works just like an Amiga, you turn it on and it starts automatically. With a 32GB SD-card, theres not lack of space. 😉

          • Yeah I’ve read about the MIST and it looks like a brilliant solution. I am tempted to get one at some point. 32GB, lol! I didn’t even fill my 250MB hard drive on my A1200! But I’d love to have a physical A1200 again, just because…

            • It’s hard filling up that space, but cool to have nevertheless. 🙂 I run an AGA setup on it with Magic Workbench and WHD-Load installed. Works great. Also tried an AGA-fixed version of Moonstone on ADF-s, which was great and time consuming fun. 😀 There are some stuff that does not work properly, but the AGA core is still being developed. The one for OCS/ECS is rock solid.
