Hello folks,

Any of you still gaming on the Playstation 2 in 2017?

After my daughter started playing Franklin and Dora on the PS2, it re-iginited my interest in this legendary console.

Have now revisited some old favorites, but also tried some new titles, like LEGO: Indiana Jones – The Original Adventures. This one really surprised me, as it was very, very fun to play. To be honest, I have not looked much into the LEGO games in the past, but that has now changed after trying this Indy game. 🙂

Have also played a bit of Aragorn’s Quest and the well-known Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance. The latter is simply great, so looking forward playing this more in the future. I also have my old favorite Lord of the Rings: The Third Age to play…

No doubt that my PS2 will get a lot of love in the near future with such great games to play! The Playstation 2 has a gigantic library of cool games, so there is a lot to explore.

So, any of you into the PS2 these days?

If yes, I’d love to hear from you in the comments below. 🙂 Maybe you have some suggestions on what to play (and avoid)? Thanks and have a good one!

PS: Here is my favorite PS2 games as of 2012, hehe. 😀 It’s been a few years, but the games on that list is still cool to play.

  1. I’m still a fan of the PS2 and regularly play the Lego games with my son. The Star Wars ones are a real blast 🙂 I play the Grand Theft Auto titles from time to time but these are really time consuming. Gran Turismo is a good car game as you can pick a few races just for fun. I recently started playing The Thing which is surprisingly creepy and atmospheric. I’m about halfway through and the levels are difficult now. I can’t find any medi kits anywhere, argggh!
Another favourite I return to is Hogs of War (a PS1 title and similar to Worms).

    • Hi and thanks for the comment. 🙂 I’ll definitely have a look at Star Wars LEGO, but The Thing sounds very interesting.. will look that one up. 🙂 Cool that you play video games together with your son. 🙂
