There is a new turbo-card for the Amiga 500 that will be released soon and it adds not only more speed and memory, but an IDE-controller to boot:

Max. clock: 50MHz
RAM: 1-8 MB SIMM 72 (FPM,EDO)
IDE controller
SPI controller
Performance for MC68000 and CPU clock 50MHz (SysInfo 4.0, AIBB 6.5).
Mips: 4.40
Dhrystones: 4222
IDE transfer: ~3.1MB/s
RAM transfer: ~6.94MB/s

Burning rubber! π Recently I’ve began cherishing the old styled Workbench 1.3 colours and icons. It is probably the nostalgic side of me. Having an Amiga 500 with such a card would be an awesome computer to play around with. With the 1.3 setup, you are truly back to the roots. π
