Apple II: VMW Chiptunes – Chiptune Player

Here’s an Apple II music-disk that was just released. It contains many cool chiptunes! Code and graphics was done by Deater. You can find the entry on Pouet.net here.

I think this is the first production of the kind I’ve seen running on an old Apple. 🙂 Great stuff and catchy music!

Watch an Apple II play 30+ minutes of chiptune music from one 140k disk using only a 1MHz 6502, 48k of RAM, and a Mockingboard sound card. I apologize for the audio quality, something’s a bit off with my capture setup. Code, disk image, and more info can be found here:
