The well-known AmiWest event in Sacramento, California, will be held the upcoming weekend, just a few days after Amiga38 closed its doors.

First up, on October 12th, is the AmiWest Developer Conference. It lasts for two days and is focused on learning and sharing from experts worldwide on the latest AmigaOS developments. It will be hosted by Steven Solie, lead developer on the ExecSG team.

The main exhibition opens at 10:00 AM on October 14th. Trevor Dickinson of A-EON Technology will kick off the event with news and announcement. Following Trevor will be a packed schedule with speakers such as RJ Mical and Michal Schulz (EMU68K).

Thanks to Bill “tekmage” Borsari, those of us not being physically at the event, can watch the livestream from home. 🙂

Afterwards, it is time for the banquet starting at 7 PM on Saturday, October 14th, featuring Garry Hare, Ph.D. Former CEO of Amiga Inc. from 2003 to 2005.
