Hi everyone,
Yesterday was a great day. It was the day my new AmigaOS 4 computer arrived! It is a brand-new system built upon the Sam460LE motherboard from ACube Systems in Italy.
I originally intended to get the A1222+ but decided on the Sam460LE in the end due to compatibility issues with various games and programs. Due to this, I settled on a pre-built system from Amedia Computer in France. Getting it up and running was a matter of plugging in the necessary cables, hooking it up to a monitor, and then pressing the power button. 🙂 The AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition (with updates) was already set up with extra software installed.
If you want, you can check out the specifications of the computer here.
I have a graphics card supporting 3D, but I will see if I need to install it. The system is much better than the Sam440 Flex already. 😉 Fallout 1 and 2 run great, which the Flex struggled a bit with. For now I’m very happy with it!
Stay tuned for a review of the system in the near future! 😉
Thanks for visiting my blog. Have a great weekend!
