Hi guys,
Today I read on the excellent website Spillhistorie.no that new re-mastered versions of Simon the Sorcerer I and II will be released on the 3rd of April this year.
The developers, MojoTouch, has announced that each game will cost 8.99 USD. The original versions will be included as a bonus.
After what I’ve seen so far, people are not impressed with the new graphics shown in the trailers. I’ve embedded them below so that you can have a look for yourself. Time will show how these re-mastered editions will play.

Nice, I always wanted to play this as I enjoy a good point and click.

I see that it’ll be available on Steam, so will pick it up. 🙂 Can’t go wrong anyway and have yet to play Simon the Sorcerer II properly. 😉

What’s not to be impressed? If they made it too different, then it would spoil the feel of the game. It looks pretty close to the original to me, which is not a bad thing.

It’ll be interesting to see how it plays. 🙂 Today I got hold of Curse of Monkey Island on Steam, so very happy about that. Will be good to have Simon in the archive as well.
