Two days ago I wrote about the upcoming remastered editions of Simon the Sorcerer I and II. Today I read (once again) the latest news on Spillhistorie.no and it turns out that The Curse of Monkey Island has now been released (finally) on both Steam and GOG!
It’s great that there is now a legal and official way to get hold of this game again. Finding a copy on eBay can be expensive and it is not easily available all the time.
I’ve got a physical copy in my collection, but did purchase this digital one on Steam as soon as I heard the news. 🙂 It’s good to have Curse of Monkey Island in my Steam archive. 🙂 And… I look forward to playing it!
So, check your Steam and GOG and have a look! 🙂
I thought my Sunday post had accidentally gone live when I saw this! But yes, amazing news! How long did that have to take?! But it’s here, cheap as anything, and I got it immediately! Such a wonderful game.
Hi and thanks for commenting. 🙂 Yes, it has taken quite a long time! Game was first released back in the late 90’s and Steam has been around for years, so it was about time I think. 🙂 It still looks superb in the graphics department, which can’t be said about some of the 3D games from that era. 😉
