Amiga Format Presents “An Introduction to the A1200” and more

Good evening everyone,

Hope you are well and that you are looking forward to the upcoming spring. ๐Ÿ™‚

Today I found a real gem on YouTube. It is an old instructional video by the Amiga Format team. It has been ripped from VHS and made available for everyone to see. The video is very, very basic, so if you don’t know much about the Amiga 1200 from before, it’ll be perfect. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I also found a video from Amiga Format that is a guide to hard drives! Enjoy the show!

For old magazine readers you will find it fun to see the offices of Amiga Format as well as the people working there. ๐Ÿ™‚ Truly a nice bit of computing history there!

Have a good weekend and thanks for visiting my blog.

  1. I think the Amiga 1200 was the best computer, the Commodore has ever released. Especially the version with hard drive and software package – as an accessory nor a CD drive and a 680/30/40 turbo card … I had a Blizzard 1230 or something like that … played Gloom and Happy was in 1996/97 ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Hi Schlaki78,

Thank you for visiting my blog and for leaving a comment.

Yes, the A1200 is great. ๐Ÿ™‚ Gloom too! Remember when I got it in the mail and tried it for the first time. I pre-ordered it from a shop back then and eagerly checked my mailbox. Suddenly it appeared and it did not disappoint me.
