Hi there Shirley,
Many thanks for visiting my blog and for commenting. ๐
I think it’s cool that you used the “portable” Commodore computer in the past. That is a legendary machine. You might be interested to hear that Commodore is still alive. Some groups of people are even developing games for the C64! Imagine that! ๐
Keep up the good work with your blog. I’ll pop in to have another look.

Thanks for stopping by The Meta Bard and giving my Wheel of Fortune pic a like! I’m an avid retro gamer, particularly for PC. We got our first computer, a Tandy 1000, in November of 1987 and my love for classic (well at that time they were new and “cutting-edge”) games began. Awesome to see this blog up. Keep up the good work!

Old school gamers unite! Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the like on my post about Another World. Glad to see another gamer who’s as invested in the golden age as I am. Bring on the DOS and point n’ click!

Hi there! Thanks for visiting and commenting. Good hearing from you. ๐ And I agree… bring on the point’n’click! ๐ Right now I feel an urge to install good, old Curse of Monkey Island again. I have the original on CD, but must use ScummVM on Windows 8 I think. Best would be to play it on an old PC. ๐

Monkey Island! I wish I still had some of that hardware lying around. Sadly the games stand out in my memory but I don’t much remember how I played them and on what platform I played them on. Maniac Mansion was a floppy I remember that. Anything before the NES is pretty hazy. Also with your permission could I add your blog to my links page? You’re a great resource for very vintage gaming

Just sumbled over your blog by searching for Amiga stuff, awww โฅ *nostalgia-mode on*
Still have an 500 & a 1200 here with a handful of original games. Nearly all are still I’m good condition, some few died through years, f.e. Turrican 3. 8-(
I lost some great Thalion pearls during a moving, that’s awful…
Nice work, for sure I’ll hang around here from time to time ๐

Hi! Nice blog. I especially like you talk about demos too! but not only on Amiga. Also: thanks! for writing about mine here https://oldschoolgameblog.com/2017/04/16/demo-logons-run-3d-meets-the-aging-bits-amstrad-revision-2017/ – but also about that kick-ass “Overdrive2” demo on Sega Genesis. Back to your beloved Amiga computer: you might have missed that tribute I did a few months ago – tribute to Amiga and “that” game which killed me when I saw it back at that time: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=72271 Best regards! and let’s go retro for ever. ๐
